1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to TeamCav. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coding Cavalry, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the TeamCav website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). TeamCav is a product of Coding Cavalry, LLC. These Terms are provided in English; the English version is the controlling version.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for any and all actions taken through your account.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Children under 13 cannot create or use their own TeamCav account. If a player's date of birth shows they are under 13, sign-in is blocked. A parent or legal guardian takes part on the child's behalf through their own account, where the child's teams, schedule, and messages are all available.

Player information is entered by parents, guardians, or authorized league staff rather than by children. Parents and guardians may review and update their child's information at any time, and may have a child's record deleted by asking their league administrator or by contacting us using the details below. Please see our Privacy Policy for the full description of how we handle children's information.

4. Fees, Payments, and Subscriptions

Free for Coaches and Parents: Coaches and parents use the Service at no charge. This includes independent coaches who sign up without a league. No credit card is requested from coaches or parents.

League Free Trial: Each new league receives a 90-day free trial with access to every feature. No credit card is required to start the trial. We will notify the league administrator before the trial ends.

League Subscriptions: After the free trial, continued use of the Service by a league requires a paid monthly subscription. The subscription fee is a flat monthly rate determined by league size (number of players), as published on our pricing page. Subscription fees are billed monthly through our payment processor and may change with advance notice; any change will be communicated before it takes effect.

Cancellation: A league administrator may cancel the league's subscription at any time from the billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing; no refunds are issued for the current billing period. There are no cancellation penalties or exit fees.

Media Storage: Each league includes a media storage allowance. Additional storage may be available; contact us for details.

No Advertising: The Service is 100% ad-free.

5. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for the User Content that you post to the Service. By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services to provide certain features, including Stripe for payment processing and Checkr for background screening where a league requires it. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable third party's terms. The Service may also contain links to third-party websites that we do not control.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service in any way that is unlawful or harms TeamCav or any other person.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. League administrators may cancel their subscription from the billing dashboard. Any user may delete their own account through the app or our account deletion page. To have a child's record deleted, a parent or guardian may ask their league administrator, who can remove it directly, or contact us using the details below.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date above.
