Is TeamCav really free?
For coaches and parents — yes, completely free. That includes independent coaches who sign up without a league: run your own team at no cost, and no credit card is ever requested. Leagues get every feature free for 90 days — unlimited teams, unlimited players, no credit card required to start. After the trial, the league pays one flat monthly fee, and coaches and parents still pay nothing.
What happens after the free trial?
After the 90-day trial, league administrators pay a simple monthly fee based on league size. There are three tiers:
- Starter ($49/mo) — Up to 150 players
- Standard ($99/mo) — 151 to 400 players
- Premier ($149/mo) — 401+ players
That's one flat fee. Every feature is included at every tier — no feature upgrades, no per-player charges. Each league includes a generous media storage allowance; if your league outgrows it, contact us and we'll get you more room. We'll notify you before your trial ends.
Do coaches or parents have to pay?
No. Coaches and parents use every feature of TeamCav completely free. This is not a limited free plan. The only paid subscriptions are for league administrators, and only after the 90-day free trial.
Are there ads on TeamCav?
No. TeamCav is 100% ad-free. We believe ads have no place in a tool that coaches and parents rely on to manage their kids' sports.
Are there any hidden fees or transaction charges?
No hidden fees from TeamCav. When your league collects registration payments from families, Stripe's standard processing fee applies (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). That is Stripe's fee — we do not charge anything on top of it. There are no platform fees, no per-player fees, and no setup fees.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can create your account and start using TeamCav immediately. No credit card is required to start your free trial.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can leave anytime, no strings attached. During the free trial, there is nothing to cancel — you're not being charged. After the trial, if you choose to subscribe, you can cancel your league subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. There are no penalties, no exit fees, and no questions asked.
