We're coaches and programmers who believe sports management should be simple.
Our Story
Our journey began on the sidelines. As volunteer coaches and professional software engineers, we saw firsthand how the chaos of managing playing time and tracking stats on spreadsheets consumed valuable attention—attention that belonged to our players.
We decided to use our technical expertise to build a solution. The result was Substitution Cavalry (SubCav), the most powerful and intuitive soccer substitution app on the market.
But as we solved the chaos of the sideline, we realized it was just one piece of a much larger problem. The entire ecosystem of youth sports—from league registration and fee collection to team communication and scheduling—was still running on clunky, outdated software and endless email chains.
We knew we could do better. Our mission expanded: to extend our programming skills to build the world's most powerful and practical software for all of youth sports management.
That mission is TeamCav. We took the same coach-first, practical-first approach that made SubCav a success and applied it to everything else. TeamCav is the all-in-one platform we always wished we had, built to handle the complex needs of league administrators, the daily tasks of coaches, and the communication needs of parents and players—all without the complexity.
